Think of it this way. We had four people living in a fourteen bedroom apartment before, there is simply no need. Simplifying the formula to keep the community together and not segregated is a good thing. And I found fourteen forums with eighty five stickies to be much more of a cluster fuck, this is clean and active. Just look at NeoGAF (at least when it was good), one forum. It works. Start subscribing to threads you find useful, it's the easiest way to take advantage of the forum software.

It has everything to do with it, are you kidding me? Thats what initiated all these recent changes and members coming back, it is naive of you to even hint at anything other wise. I like that some old members are back, but I find it unfortunate the circumstances that happened is what caused it, but there is a breaking point for everything and everyone anyway.

Anyway I dont have the time or effort to comb through the plethora of topics in there now, so whatever gets forgotten and lost gets forgotten and lost I guess. :???:

No, it doesn't. If he was here or not, the forum being restructured was going to happen one way or another. He wasn't the owner or full admin, I gave him admin access for easy control over banning and a few other things. I already talked of doing this a month prior with other mods and agreed it was a good idea due to the forum being an utter cluster fuck. It's half of the reason people just stopped posting new threads, including myself.

As for the members, yeah, it obviously does. But we're talking about forum structure, not peoples personal vendettas here.

Personally I prefer there to be no sub-forums. Before now, if something was in a sub-forum that just meant that I wasn't going to read it.

While I think bookmarks and subscribing to topics is a good idea I don't know if stickies should be completely done away with (which they haven't). Sometimes, I'm too lazy to log in (or can't) and I like to be able to find popular topics easily.

As for Junk, I don't care for it one way or another.

I, personally, like the changes so far. Thanks for the hard work guys :)

It's not really like that nor do I see it that way. He said he is willing to adapt, though disagreed, which is fair enough. Not every move can be well received on all ends, despite how much we try. That's part of the job though and also part of why things didn't move forward in the past. I'm happy to see near everyone happy with the changes though and with any luck, AG (and perhaps anyone else who hasn't spoken up) will start to enjoy them too. I know I am. The forum seems much more active and the stats have risen greatly, as has topic creation.

I use the "View new posts" feature. So I rarely forum hop.

im sure i'll get used to it, im just picky about how and when this place changes, since ive been here for so long. And all I was saying Yama is that Blue leaving opened the door/made it easier for all the other things, pre-planned or not, to happen. I still wish everyone could be here and we didnt have to substitute one member to gain how ever many more back, but thats out of my control. I hope for the best.
