Like the drama with Hellraiser & TEEPO back in the day eventually people will just have a laugh about it and think of it more fondly since people naturally are nostalgic and nostalgia is selective memory. People all the time talk how they miss the 2001-2004 era. It was just as crappy then. Yet it still provided with memories. This place will have memories no matter the era good and bad but memories we can all look back on and even poke fun at our younger selves.

So I can finally change the Batman 3 topic's name to The Dark Knight Rises? Sorted. You're now one of my favoured members.

Done and done. Nice and clean.

Great job Peter and Henry for helping transfer and retain what was necessary.

I find it odd that some people's post count went down. (mine and Riku's, and a few others I noticed)

Don't care, just thought the junk didn't count. Mine went down about 400, that's a lot of posts that were counted in junk. Odd.

I am gone for a week at dragon con, come back and now the junk forum is the next item under the guillotine? True enough, the junk had been dying for a while, but with all the old members coming back I am sure it could have been revived properly. I know I know, all the staff wants to have all this sophisticated and long winded conversation about how to "improve" and "maker better" the dojo. Remember how when facebook updates and everyone hates it, and is like its no like it used to be, and its not as good? Bingo. I would not be surprised if these forums/community end up being about something else besides shenmue at this point. I am really glad to see all the old members back, but it seems like it has been the catalyst for changes that even they might find questionable. there are core elements of SD that I dont think should have ever been removed and the junk forum is one of them. I swear I dont know what the fuck you guys are thinking. I am not buying all this fancy talk and strategically worded bullshit to try to sway us into thinking this is ok, it reminds me of a ambitious government thats trying to get the people to buy into their own agenda. Most of all, I am losing respect for some of the people in charge here, and I am disappointed with the drastic changes, I am not gonna rant for page after page about this, but I will definitely call out the fuck ups made in the future. Dick move guys, dick move.

I think things are better now.

Sure strong arguments and disagreements came back at full force but the ones instigating them aren't in power. Keeps things safe but that the same time interesting.

I guess I see the point there, the only way to sterilize the junk forum was to burn it down and treat its foundations as if it were the site of a nuclear explosion.

Less gay sex orgy talk = Less Shenmue-orientated? I know everyone jokes about the whole sailors aspect of Shenmue, but Jesus Christ...

I never mentioned the junk forum being deleted. Also there is nothing wrong with my above statement, especially considering ITS A FUCKING JOKE. How is that not obvious? It happens all the time. Was it not you Peter who made the "you crazy sexy SOBS" topic? Implying that you are jokingly saying you find the members here sexy? Well thats the exact same thing I am saying and ultimately that I missed you guys and i am glad to be back. I vote against homophobe proofing SD. Why? Because I love you guys, in a bromance kinda way.

Which is good, as long as no one goes too far that's one of the things that keeps a forum going.
