That's a shame. They did a good job as a moderator.

Also hard to believe we may be using a brand new Dojo in two weeks time!

I appreciated how he tried to bring rationality and balance to certain threads. Spaghetti will be missed and I hope he comes back one day.

Hopefully he's just evolving into bolognese.

It is sad, but we don't have time to dwell, and even though the current Dojo is on its last run, I am not having any slack. FlagshipFighter is a decent member as well as having vital modding experience from Yakuza boards so I am happy to bring him on board. He will take up Spaghettis role.

I appreciate all the work you have done for this site Peter.

I remember you from the very early days here, and it's difficult to comprehend the amount of patience, time, and how much we have evolved as a community.

Just to think that we did not have many of the resources we have today, no youtube, no wikipedia, I believe it was Miles Prowers website where I obtained most of my information on the various characters in Shenmue.

I hope that you decide to archive the old forums, I really enjoy reading through some of the old posts and looking at the timeline history to how much we have achieved.

Thanks bud. I want to scream about what's going on, but I can't just yet. Fingers crossed this week will be when we pull the trigger, and at the very least, start getting the details out to everyone.

But yes, major changes are on the way, and all for the better in regards to the present, and future of this site.

Will the forums be archived in some way? There is a treasure trove of information and history here.

Shouldn't be necessary as, this is how I've interpreted it, we're upgrading to the latest phpBB forum software so everything should port over as is.

On the off chance that anyone hasn't heard yet, the new Shenmue Dojo will be going live this Friday!

There's some important information about the transition in this thread:
