Two and a half thousand signatures isn't chopped liver. It's actually pretty respectable.

The "Keep Soul Reaver 2 for the Dreamcast" petition got about 6500 signatures, but didn't achieve anything. I then bought a PS2 and played Soul Reaver 2 and thought, "Why the hell did we bother?"

I notice you can't append messages to your signatures anymore, which is a shame. Some of those petitions were an absolute blast to read! My favourite was on the "Change the name of The Two Towers because of 9/11" petition, which said something like, "I think that in view of historical events, The Two Towers should not be released - the historical event being the fucking awful first Lord of the Rings movie."

Like many said, something like this can never hurt. It takes a couple minutes, and it can be beneficial, if only to show that there's a solid core of devoted fans of the series.

I'm seeing like 10 signatures added per 5 minutes. Most look fake with names like "John" and "Mike" ...

its got over 7000 sigs now, i also put this as news on my site and forums, why dident the dojo make a big thing of this? it would of helped the petition lots
