It's strange to see OL all fanboyish, but you do make a good point my orange friend.

I just hope, assuming this game does well, that they are able to put two and two together. Maybe not S3, but featured in another game? Than another? Then maybe they'll decide this world is ready for the awesomeness that will be S3.

Imagine this: Sega releases this game, we all buy it, and it ends up selling better than most of Sega's releases have in the past few years. If that happens, they are going to pay attention to what's different about this game in particular. And the fact that Ryo, who hasn't been featured in a game in almost a decade, is in it will stand out to them. If that situation happens, as a company, as a business, they will take notice.
As a few people before me already said, this actually does feel like more of a chance for more Shenmue than pretty much anything else that's happened in the last 9 years.
Seriously, support it people.
I usually try not to be too enthusiastic about possible Shenmue-related news, but this is pretty big. If you all actually love Shenmue so much and want more, buy this game.

This is exactly what I was saying about Shenmue Online. Even if you don't like the idea of it being online or even if for some stupid reason you don't like magic (which was obviously intended to be in the next version) if you support the game then SEGA would consider Shenmue profitable again which would bring of Shenmue 3.

Totally awesome, they included the fucking motorcyle AND forklift, couldn't really ask for more :lol:

In addition to buying the game, make sure you play online as Ryo. Like I said earlier, companies can track things like how many times people have played as character "x" online.

OMG omg omg, I am late as always, but this is cool news. OK shenmue 3 would have bene cooler of course, but I am glad Sega did not forget about Ryo. Crossing fingers Lan Di will be available as a secret character driving a "black car". XD

Seriously this makes me want to buy a nexgen console... Hmmm PS3 or X360... At least i got some time left to decide.

Outta my way, here comes the forklift!

Fantastic news to hear after getting home from work! Soooooo stooooooked, gonna probably buy it on every console I have that it comes out for.

I agree with OL, now's a real deal chance to get noticed! Regardless, it's time to up my game and start reppin' Shenmue all over the place!

I'm with OL on this!

Hopefully SEGA will take notice of good sales. Buying this game is the least I can do after seeing Ryo's unexpected return to the spotlight.

Even if his appearance turns out to have no connection whatsoever to the possibility of a third Shenmue game, it's still pretty cool to see good ol' Ryo alive 'n' forkliftin'
