If you're talking about Niao Sun's eye in the jacket of "Shenmue Orchestra Version,"
it's Ryo, not the same guy. Look closely:

There are four gaurdian animals and Niao Sun's symbol
is red phoenix, guardian of the south. Just like Landi's symbol is blue
dragon, guardian of the east.

So do you think that all the guardians have their animals..... what i mean is that Ryo has the Pheonix mirror and he could be a guardian of the west or north, do you get what i mean? well not specifically Ryo being the guardian but his family.... etc? i dunno, just an idea?!

Is it me or am i just a dumb-butt! I always read that Niao-sun can be seen at the end of shenmue 2...........WHERE in the blue hell is she!?!! Where are all these pictures and screen-shots of her coming from?

p.s it is amazing the way so damn much information gathered, tricks, story-line assumption, even mods to the game you guys have brought us. I mean, you have squeezed the un-squeezable out of this series. I could play shenmue 3 in my head from start to finish with all the dectective work and information done in this site.

If Xiuyings parents were killed and her brother took the dark path and seeked revenge, then it's possible that Ziming is Lan Di and maybe Xiuying and Ziming's father was the leader of Chi You, the heavenly emporer. Maybe Iwao killed the leader of Chi You?

Lan Di is not zimming, only have to see the cartoon strip on the xbox version of Shenmue II to know this.

Niao Sun is one of the four featured characters in the first Shenmue promotion.
