6) Lastly, Kickstarter itself has guidelines stating that a project on the site must have "a clear goal, like making an album, a book, or a work of art. A project will eventually be completed, and something will be produced by it." Without Sega's prior approval, this cannot be guaranteed. The guidelines also state that examples of prohibited use include "promoting the donation of funds raised, or future profits, to a charity or cause." So a fan-organized Shenmue III fundraiser on Sega's unsolicited behalf would not even be allowed on Kickstarter.
I call bullshit on the one, Anita Sarkeesian used kickstarter to fund a video in order to spew some hate-filled, feminazi, misandric crap about how pretty much all video games objectify women.
She aimed for just 4000 dollars but got over 150,000 dollars and she still has not made this so called video and it's been over a year.
Her videos are based on nothing but her own heavily flawed theory's and opinions, nothing about charities.
Yet she's infamous for her kickstarter project, which looks like it's never going to start.
Probably blew it on a boob job, jewelry, cars and holidays.
I agree with everything else you stated though.
