It's not that insulting, but it's just weird to dub over Ryo's voice actor in an interview.
I'm pretty sure he's crying on his desk right now,"They dubbed over me!"

Really interesting interview. i knew they did a lot of motion capture, but it never really occurred to me how much work went into it, like all of the different directional motions and the real fighting.

Now that the KS has a twitter account we should tell them we prefer the original voice with subs either as an option or the default. : /

This was a great little interview. I didn't know that he was the one to perform as Ryo for the motion captureing too.
And yeah, it's really silly to have this dubbed. It was okay for the other videos but for the voice actor? Lame.

Nice interview and he really seemed to be a nice guy, and dedicated. The part about the motion capture process was interesting. I liked how you could "see" Ryo in his movements. For example when he went into the starting stance before a fight.

Are they going to give us a choice between the two (English VA and Japanese VA w/ subtitles) or not [just Japanese VA w/ subs]? It wouldn't make much sense for them to interview this guy otherwise, I guess. He's just as much Ryo to me due to Shenmue 2 on Dreamcast being what I played, as opposed to the Xbox version, so I'd be happy with that.
