Well Cedric has been retweeting tweets asking him about new reward tiers so I think we'll be getting those at the bare minimum. Outside of that a new video? Kickstarter page revamp? The use of the word umbrella indicates we should get multiple announcements today at least. Guessing they'll go with one more big update later today that houses multiple announcements designed to conincide with the fan-led initiative that's happening at the same time today.

Optimistically I'm hoping for a PS4 physical version or Shenmue 1 and 2 HD. Just something substantial to electrocute the campaign.

I can't see there being a HD announcement - surely this would come directly from Sega?

They've made about $35k today with no new tiers and America has barely woken up. Is that bad?

I think that's great actually! That's more than we've made in one day since June 27th. I'd say we'll start seeing a spike around noon EDT(EST) but we really want everyone to donate at 2 EDT(EST) to see the biggest spike.

Then I think we'll see another spike if they announce more reward tiers, especially under $1,000. But they need some higher dollar ones too.

HD remakes of 1 and 2 shouldnt be related to the Kickstarter campaign for 3.

Yu has consistently said HD remakes are nothing to do with him and up to Sega so I wouldn't expect any Kickstarter update to relate to this... But you never know!

It's possible that Sega has contacted him about it since the time he said that, though.
Presumably, if Sega decides to remake 1 and 2, they will surely want Suzuki to be involved in some way? I'd be surprised if Sega went ahead on S1 and 2 without involving him in any way.

Umbrellas? Must be adding rain to the game as a new stretch goal.

if its ANY update regarding higher stretch goals then, like, whats the point??? We wont hit the current ones so whats the point of giving us higher amounts to hit?
