You might be surprised how many people pledge "last minute" in such projects. I think something around 6 million is realistic - and that would already make it the worlds must funded video game project ever. Period. And after that? Maybe paypal backing options? I'd be surprised if they would not offer any way at all to continue the love and funding...

Ah so "It's not over til the fat lady sings" is a German saying? Makes sense but I didn't know that
