We are now exactly where I had my sights set on. 10 million would have been nice, but I don't even think the best run campaign could have attained that.

I always held a glimmer of hope, but I was mostly resigned to never getting this opportunity to continue Shenmue. Rumors didn't phase me and I did not think Suzuki's forklift tweet meant a thing. The most surreal moment is yet to come -- receiving my copy of Shenmue III in the mail (and hopefully, leaving that sealed and buying a physical copy in the store on the day of its release)
