Maybe what Peter means is there is no visible update in the page's cache, don't know.

Yep. Usually uploaded 1-2, sometimes 3 days before the update goes live.

Well the HD announcement has as much a chance of anything else. If you believe hard enough that it was a sensible business decision to remake them, then this event and E3 are the only logical event's for it to be announced. If now Saturday, then E3 will be as much of something to get excited about.

I'm actually very excited for tomorrow, with it being a week of hard work, excitement, seeing if we will get an update, build the hype for Saturday. This is a big week.

There is so much excitement around Shenmue 3 that Shenmue HD almost (A-L-M-O-S-T) slipped out of my mind.

This is going to be a hectic week for Shenmue fans.

If there's going to be a trailer that blows everyone away with the progress they've made, then I'd prefer we all went into it completely cold for maximum impact. No preview shot hinting at what it will look like.

Yeah, I think that's my preference too despite my immense thirst to see what it looks like now.

They could just do a text post with "Saturday." as the only content and I think we'd still go through the roof with hype.

Hmm, I don't know if solid confirmation of something Shenmue related being there would make me more or less hyped

I hope there is no update whatsoever. It maximises the impact. Tomorrow is the telltale day though. They could update tomorrow (Japan time) for a public release on Wednesday.

If we get to Wednesday with no update, then my excitement will be through the roof.

The preparation for updates have been handled like clockwork up until now. Nothing appearing you know where isn't suspicious, but definitely gives us a clue where they're going with it this week.
