I've been watching the amount climb too! It seems like it's been pretty steady after the 3rd event.

Seems people are backing out of the voice message reward, going for the $800 reward instead. I think they should change it a bit by making it optional to have the voice message in game (by calling a certain phone number to let Ryo leave a voicemail message).

I don't know why people in the reward tiers above the $800 would drop down (or even complaining that they don't get the reward included in their tier). Ooooh an exclusive move scroll? big deal! Having your name on a temple is cool, but the reward tiers above are cooler or at least on the same level of coolness.

I've tweeted Cedric and the Shenmue_3 twitter asking if they could add a $1800 tier that combines the $1500 I AM SHENMUE and $800 SHENMUE PATRON tiers into one. Would anyone else at $1500 back this?

Yea it wouldn't make much sense to announce a PayPal option until the KS ends. Maybe a couple weeks @ least to give people time to regroup.

I'm sure it's something that crossed every Shenmue fan's mind's at some point in the game. You get so caught up in the game, it kinda slips your mind. It definitely adds to the nostalgia factor and a great idea imo.

Good question. I imagined there would be a couple cut scene's where you Phone home and talk to Fukuhara or Ine-San at some point and catch up with them.

Maybe you get the option to call certain characters at certain points in the game and get little tidbits of information from them?

Maybe you call them and as you talk to them on the phone Ryo has flashbacks from the first two games.

Anyway I really like these, I'm most likely upping my pledge to $80.

Since I want the technique scroll more than the guest register thing (and I have less money than I thought), dropped my pledge to $800, may go for extra $80 to get game for other platform towards end of KS.
