you may not have noticed it but in shenmue 2 shenhua's house had an electric light over the front door. they must have generators or something.

screen shots are really great. obviously it is weird the way that Ryo and Shenhua are positioned but this is clearly because they don't want to reveal the new faces yet. i'm very impressed at the progress.

i hope they release a 'magic weather' demonstration type of video at some point in the future.

It's nice too see Ryo talking with that wooden pole as they have so much in common personality wise.

Loved it. Just seeing Ryo placed in a location like that reminds me of the old games. And this is like the first in game screenshot. Of Shenmue 3. Absurd. Unbelievable.

In Yu we trust.

The more I think about it, are those the old E3 models? The jacket looks better but that might be a tweaked shader value more than anything. It at least gives it a little texture so it doesn't look completely flat.

Like many of you, I still can't believe Shenmue 3 is actually unfolding before my eyes. Seven months in and it's looking insane.

Like these new screens, especially the second one, at the lakeside with all the fog and rain. Seems Shenmue III is going to have some nice weather effects. Let's hope for the best.

As for the other two screenshots, they are good but they would've worked better overall without Ryo and Shenhua being hastily placed in there. They give the screenshots such a placeholder feeling. I know, I know it's still early WIP but I'm getting really anxious to see some screenshots that are closer or at least look closer to what the gameplay graphics will be like.

I really love the direction that these screenshots indicate that the game development is going. It still feels like a dream that we will be getting Shenmue III. Yu, take as long as you need to to develop Shenmue III as you want. We have waited this long so waiting until the end of 2017 or beginning of 2018 is nothing. :)

Its still good to see them for a point of reference.

Ryo's jacket has been improved considerably and I think his hair too. He still looks like he has arthritic fingers, maybe its from all that fighting. For Shenhua I think there isn't much to say except her fingers are just default model rigged and no proper posing has been done for either of them.

I can't find any confirmation of this rumored exclusive new video of Shenmue 3 during the Magic Monaco event.
I can't also find any official press release from yesterday conference...

...But I'm maybe just not as good as Ryo when it comes to find evidences

Did you read about this new video somewhere else?

Missed this post.

Turns out I'm as good as Ryo when he looks for sailors... or chinese people...

Thank you Peter & David!
