Sega's Explosive E3 Announcement

Start the rumor mill, Sega has just announced a mystery briefing at E3 that could shock the world.

In less than two weeks time, on Wednesday, May 12, Sega will surprise the gaming world with an announcement from their booth at E3. According to an e-mail sent out to various media outlets this morning, the announcement will take place at 10:00 AM PST, and last for approximately 30 minutes. Sega is calling it an "Explosive Announcement Event".

In addition to the big announcement, the mystery briefing will also unveil the latest titles from Sega. Many people have speculated that Sega will announce Shenmue III exclusively for the Xbox, but the sheer magnitude of this event seems to point to something bigger. Stay with us as we'll have coverage of the event from the E3 show floor.

You're the same one who posted the e3 list the other day, right? According to you, Shenmue III has been announced. Why would people speculate this is it then?

But this site does seem more reliable. Looking at the newsfeed list, the stuff seems pretty truthful.

And something bigger than Shenmue? What would that be coming from Sega? Something totally new?

It COULD be announcing the end of Sega or a new console. But both seem 100x less likely then Shenmue III ever coming out.

Well, a new console is something I could settle for if it would turn out that we don't get Shenmue 3 yet

Hey, I've never seen so many people browsing the Shenmue III forum. Everyone must be this excited...

its either 12:30 or 1:30 in California right now, so I'd expect something in a few hours. But from the sound of things, this may just be a pre-announce thing, saying to look forward to an annoucement, so the real news will be at E3. A couple of the posts in here made things look good.
