It's been bothering me since Shenmue 1, I'm sure it's healed by now. If he's that attached to it, then he can keep it in his pocket.

Also isn't it interesting, although I'm sure it's only coinsidence, that Ryo, Lan Di, and Zimming all had their fathers killed and all got a scar under their left eye.

In shenmue 3 he mignt tike it off and therre will be a scar like Lan Di's

Well, first of all, the bandage on Ryo's face is just part of the image of the character.
I had a theory that Ryo would take-off the bandage to reveal that he has a scar like Lan Di, and will use this to disguise himself as Lan Di to infiltrait the Chiyou Men's headquarters. I think it would be very cool to run around dressed up as Lan Di.

Yeah, he will keep it. It's a fad. Even Nelly copied off of Ryo.

I think heel keep it, If he doesn't he wont look right. Its like a person with glasses, when they first get em, they dont look right, but then after a few months, when they take them off, they dont look right....

that bad aid is not stuped but i think ther could be some thing behind the band aid.... like a scar that lookes like Lan-Di's scar beacouse his band aid is in the same place were Lan-Di's scar is so i think ther mite be a conection ther and i have had even befor shenmue 2 came to the U.S. beacouse I imported it from the uk

Ryo could NEVER pass for Lan Di.

He should keep it and he probably will. It'd bother me if he didn't, after playing through the past games and getting used to the bandage on his face..

I wonder if Nelly likes Shenmue......................

Maybe if all xiuings talk of being 'lost to the evil path' comes true he will take it off to reveal a Lan-Di scar. I don't really want ryo to become evil as it would be stupid, but It would make a cool scene.

maybe his friends wrote on his face with a permanent marker when he was sleping so he uses the band aid to cover it up

The band-aid adds to his Character and distinction from many other characters, along with his robot voice ;) . I dont think we will see him without it on till maybe a fight with Lan Di where he punches Ryo in the face and it falls off? *Cutscene*
