Imagine if, after shenmue three, they came out with a shenmue
episode 1. You'd play as ryo's father and play thru. And find out pieces to the story. Im still putting thoughts together, so thats all i have to say

If its successful enough, i do not see why that couldn't happen...but they still have to fund shenmue III first.

I dunno i'd rather be expecting for shenmue 4 (if they havent crammed the whole story in S3). rather complete the whole story, then you'd pretty much know about the whole story anyways.

yeah--- a bit like RE0 or something... but.. if shenmue3 was like that... we would still have to wait for the reall follow up to guilin... and that would suck.

Do you not think that the game would be better through the eyes of Lan Di rather than Iwao. Then you could see his version of events in the main Shenmue story etc.

I think fighting Iwao with a QTE (as its movie) would be better.

I also want to see weapons in Shenmue 3 like samurai swords and Ryo has to learn how to use them.

Shenmue is a game that will come to an end if u look at games like zelda etc there is always! room 4 sequels but once the shenmue saga ends that will be it the end. so one way 2 continue it in some way would be a prequal i think thats a good idea

That would be cool, but I don't see it happening. It is possible and that would be cool, but it just seems unlikely.

I wouldn't mind it, as long as the series finally is complete.
