This makes me believe this game certainly is still coming out.

EDIT: the word "OFFICIAL" was removed by Kiyuu from the topic title, as it's not verified.
And, "?" was added to avoid misleading, as it may not "new."

Hmm... it opens not long after Sega state they have a big announcement to make... Can't help but feel a little giddy about Shenmue 3...

I noticed that but 'reserved by feel' but didn't JCE pull out of it? Maybe feel took over, i'm sure it is an official site, similar to the Virtua Fighter 5 one. If only someone could translate it into English.

I don't understant why they made an entirely different domain than the one we are used to (smocn.com - which still has the "stay tuned" screen).

In order to try and verify that this new site isn't a fake, i ran a few checks:

It seems that the IP address of the new site comes from China, so that's one box ticked.

However, the whois information for the .com and .net don't match. The new site has the same whois information, but it's formatted a hellofalot differently.

Lastly, this site has the same animations etc as the REALLY OLD JCE site, havn't had much time to look around yet though.

I'm keeping an open mind, but not ruling out that this could be a fake site.

I'm gonna assume this one is fake until the game comes out.

EDIT: By the research I've done on the site, it seems about 90% of everything isn't functioning, and it just may be official. The word at the bottom "站长" according to a translator means stationmaster. It appears that you would be able to download your Shenmue Online client from the site, and update it as well if it were functional. This just MAY be the Sega announcement we've been hearing about, but "we will see"

"站长" in these days is used as "webmaster" in Chinese websites.

I doubt that site is official, as I don't see any newer material revealed last year.
Also, how could an official site doesn't have "SEGA" anywhere, unlike this one? :?
