Well there's a competition this friday where UK residents can win. I was going to be greedy and keep the info to myself but felt a change of heart so anyways every friday SEGA do a 'free stuff friday' on twitter. This friday there are three figures up for grabs(You can't win three just 3 chances to win 1)
Anyways i'll leave it up to you guys to find the rest out but basically you've got to be following SEGA on twitter. Good luck all!

It looks shoddy as hell but can't complain over something free.
Be a cool collectors piece as a Shenmue fan.
If they ever decided to sell them well that is a different story.

Congrats and love the pic of it carrying Shenmue, infact that is how I would have it permanently displayed.

Enjoy
:nice!:

Thanks! I will say that despite the paint looking "shoddy", the build quality is great. It's a real solid constructed little forklift with nice weight to it. The metal frame and little lights are nice touches. I actually like the roughness to it, makes it feel like a figure from out of the 80's. Like those tough rubber wrestling figures.

lol:

Of course, it could have been better, but it's quality for what it is (a free giveaway) and could open the door to future Shenmue items. Jazwares needs to get to making a Ryo on motorcycle figure.

^ haha I remember those! I had a Macho Man Randy Savage one even though my fave wrestler in the 80's as a kid was Hulk Hogan.
Later I had one of the wrestling buddies. I beat it with bats and stabbed it with knives when I was pissed.

Yeah I was a little disappointed in the build quality, but whatever. I didn't pay for it...

I don't know if I want to sell it or not. It's a little sentimental since it's the first sweepstakes I've won. I wish they did a Kubrick figure, I collect those and they're a lot cooler in terms of finish and detail. But I'm sure SEGA wouldn't let Medicom license Shenmue...

You'd be better off making a mold of the original without destroying it... if that's even possible. While the original paint job isn't great, you'd basically be ruining a limited edition figure. Better to resell it for $250 ;)

Oh, I picked this up yesterday off ebay for $10:

On the topic of SASASR: Forklift Ryo kicks ass! I kicked three motorcycle player's butts online over the weekend. HA!
