Posted: Sat Jul 24, 2010 12:31 pmImho this aint even really a "SEGA game". Sumo made it, SEGA only licensed the characters and trademarks and bitched about how Sonics car should look like. Best SEGA did here was "Design supervisory". I mean its a quite good game, but i don't think of it as a "game SEGA made". Rather one they licensed.

I thought it was a great idea to put Ryo in S&S Allstar Racing. I'd love to think it was a signal that Shenmue 3 will happen within the next few years but who knows. Still keeping fingers & toes firmly crossed in the mean time.
I'm replaying Shenmue again the last few days and loving it just like back in the day when I first played it round a mates house. It was magic and it's literally changed my life.
I took up Karate in June 2004 largely thanks to Shenmue and now I teach 4 classes. I owe this game so much and I will continue to watch with interest from the sidelines. Best wishes all and take care!
