It's set in the 80s, so why not include Turbo Outrun (Never given an arcade-perfect home version I think) and the lesser-known Power Drift, they're both from AM2's 80s catalogue in the same way that the arcade games in 1 and 2 were.

The recent trend of releasing classic games as downloadable content on the PS3/360 leads me to believe they wouldnt include any big name title they could attempt to sell on its own. Best you could hope for would be Afterburner or Super Hang-on or something. It would take a miracle for Virtua Fighter to make it on (as though this game in itself isnt a miracle).

Power Drift is a good choice. That also being a Suzuki game if I'm thinking of the right one..

Yep, you are, and is fair to expect it along the way.

I think that they should stick to games that are A: from Sega and B: fitting the time period. Yeah we all know that Ryo has a Saturn and that both Sonic and Virtua Fighter alredy exist in this 1986 but I think they shouldn't go to far with the arcade games because that would really push it to far. I don't think it would hurt much if it features games that weren't around in 1987 but 1990 should really be the limit of how far they can go.

The two games I definately want to see in Shenmue III are Power Drift and Galaxy Force II. Power Drift has already been mentioned and since it's a Suzuki game it HAS to be in Shenmue III. Galaxy Force II is from the same year as Power Drift (1988) and even though it's not from Suzuki it would fit just as nicely as After Burner II and Space Harrier did.
There are many more games that could be featured like Shinobi, Shadow Dancer, Altered Beast, Golden Axe, Thunder Blade, Super Monaco GP, Super Hang-On, Turbo Outrun and going back to YS again, G-Loc.
There is one more question though. The 4 games featured in Shenmue II are all fast paced games that last for only a pretty short time and I'm unsure if the mentioned Beat'em'ups would fit with their much slower pace and the more console game like feeling.

If there is one arcade game from the future, that I would like to see in Shenmue III it would be this:

Why? Well, Ryo could play as himself and that would be awesome.
I don't know I just find it funny in general that there's an arcade game now, that features Ryo - the guy that spent so many hours in the You Arcade himself.

You should try reading other people's posts more often.

I'm not trolling. I'm just pointing out the fact that you're a fucking prick. You call my posts worthless, but what worth is there in posting some shit that we already know? You're just trying to belittle someone when they've called you out even before you post. Epic fail.

It was 4 months ago I can't remember if I was trolling or didn't read the first post. Point is it was 4 months ago and was pointed out by others. Yet again you just try to act like a prick to feed your ego.
