And that's thanks in no small part to Ziming, who arranged for a post to be made on the 15k-strong ShenmueFans Facebook page, whose admins had been slow to follow through on their promise of support. The topic proved a real hit on their page and I think it had a strong effect on yesterday's turnout.

Shendream has kindly pledged support on behalf of Shenmue Master, but obviously their efforts to wrangle another interview with Yu Suzuki take precedence right now. Meanwhile I have a couple other logs in the fire. The next Tweetathon is of course March 3rd, but if you weren't aware of that pattern by now then I'm doing something very wrong...

Brilliant! It was great to see the community come together like that on Sunday. And yeah, big thanks to Ziming who has really come through recently!

I know Ryudo's already bumped this but that was 43 years ago, so I think we're due another.

The Tweetathon takes place all day tomorrow (Sunday), so everybody should have a spare moment at some point to hop on Twitter and post something with the hashtag #GiveYuTheShenmueLicense - done and dusted for another month.

But if you want to extend your involvement, retweeting others is a great way to build the community spirit around the Tweetathon and demonstrate the scale and diversity of participation. A full list of tweets will be visible at all times here: tinyurl.com/GiveYuTheShenmueLicense

Just log in and where you want to write a message copy and paste #GiveYuTheShenmueLicense then say something. Anything. Something as simple as I want Shenmue 3 will suffice.
