^Point, but I'm pretty sure someone like Corey Marshall would be extra careful about that shit. It ain't like Kevin Conroy lettin slip about Arkham 4, fans and WB pretty much see him as the definitive voice for Batman, so he has a lot of leeway there. Repercussions for voice actors of much less prestigious roles and big companies would be a hell of a lot more severe. Not saying it wouldn't happen btw, it's just highly unlikely, and I'm fairly certain that when Shenmue III is in development, SEGA will tighten up security a little and keep the whole thing on a need-to-know basis, as the announcement would be a pretty big event in itself due to how notorious the saga's become.

Alright, Corey has responded to all our drooling. It catches my interest that he's states "not YET", but looks like Sega is still ignoring us.

Before everyone passes out from anticipation, I should probably let you guys know I'm not in the studio for Shenmue 3 yet.

BUT, a great game (probably one of the best out there) deserves a great ending, and I'm sure, given how passionate Shenmue fans are about the game, it will come to fruition.

Also unlike Arkham in MiTT3NZ example, Shenmue isn't a western developed title. The game would probably have to be pretty far along for it reach the dubbing stage and thus be in his hands.

God theres no way anyones serious that they thought he was voicing Shenmue 3 was there???

The Sega pic was taken over a year ago whilst he was on family vacation.

I recognized the picture too, and so immediately dismissed it, but I think it's a little unfair to chastize those who may have thought it was a deliberate clue from Corey to re-post it at the same time as the studio image. There was more behind their assumptions than just the age of the photos used. I also agree however that Corey would probably (hopefully) know better than to play such games with a topic as loaded as Shenmue.

Knowing SEGA now days if they ever do Shenmue it will be without any VA to save money.

I can't see anything else than Shenmue really. It can either be :

Shenmue I/II HD but why would you record voice acting again since it's already available in english and was already done ?
Shenmue III (but shouldn't it be announced in Japan first?)
Another Sega All Stars Racing game type which needs some Ryo Hazuki voicing.
Something else completely out of my knowledge but Corey Marshall + Sega = most likely Shenmue related.

Few weeks away from E3... good news incoming ? Lets pray guys, it won't kill us !
