It's good to see the man's passion hasn't left him after all this time. I still feel like he has a few good games in him, and I hope he gets funding for Shenmue 3. The spiritual successor sounds interesting as well though; I'm sure he could pull it off given the proper time and resources.
One thing I definitely have to commend him for is his prideful willingness to give help and advice to his peers, whether they be his competition or not. We need more developers who can let go of their ego in order to bring up everyone else with them.
