Sony Is Trying To Bring Shenmue To Playstation

With respect to both Ziming and Giorgio, i think there is a way that both promotions can be successfully implemented.

Shenmue community creations are always awesome. If ziming and co have put months of effort into a project, then by all means, advertise and display it on the main page as much as you see fit. We will all support it.

However, Shenmue needs it's fans right now more so then it has done in the past 12 years. I'm going to message Adam to promote December 3rd on his youtube channel as much as possible.

Ziming, we want the front page to allow as many people as possible to be aware of Deccember 3rd, and hopefully aid in making Shenmue HD / 3 a reality, if this is off bounds, then can you reupload Adams promotional videos to the Dojo youtube channel. You have 5000+ subscribers on there. That's 5000+ more potential tweets, pleas etc to Sony.
(This is probably a better method then the front page if anything.)

This is a very serious request that i'm making in support of Team Yu, the Dojo, and all of the fans. The pressure the fans have been putting on Sony MUST CONTINUE, especially if it involves tweets being sent out to Shu, Giocorsi, Sony etc.

Ziming, let me no what you think about my proposal. I would also like to hear everyone else s thoughts on what i have suggested, especially, Team Yu.

Wow this is great news! I just hope Sony follow up on this.

Sega think Shenmue fans are far, few and in-between but they're just asleep, they've given up. Trust me once real viable news comes out that it's legit being made and news outlets like IGN, Gamespot and such start spreading it around.

They would've awoken a sleeping giant. There's Shenmue fans that haven't even played the games.

Naturally I'm in favor of everything uchihamadarav just said. What the Dojo provides in terms of information and museum pieces is fantastic, the fanbase needs all that. But right now Shenmue needs its fanbase, and spreading the word to be heard on the 3rd will always take precedence for me. December's Tweetathon may be our most important yet, and January's even moreso as the long-planned changes take effect, which will require maximum publicity to ensure as smooth a transition as possible.

You've piqued my interest. I think this is the most exciting time in shenmue news since the last report that said shenmue 3 was in development. I definitely think we have more hope now.

Personal comment: can't see yet why this is more significant (in greater precedence) than the Tweetathon and the fanbase's endeavours to spread the word to be heard on the 3rd, but I'll wait (especially if the next week is the perfect timing for it to happen).

The following is essential to the success of the next event.

1) Keep the regular hashtag (giveyutheshenmuelicence)

2) include sony's #buildingthelist in every tweet, as it also contains a large amount of Shenmue support.(Hell, it's what made sony take notice of the ip in the first place.)

3) include sega, sony, adam boyes, giocorsi and mark cerny in your tweet.

4) PLEASE, PLEASE, EVERYONE who is in a better position for promoting this event, DO SO. (youtubers adam koralik, ziming etc. also any neogafers, please post a thread to gain attraction, owner of the dojo and shenmuemaster etc, provide constant updates on the frontpage). You have the resources to make this event much bigger, so why not use them?

5)In every promotion, mention the thunderclap procedure, so no one misses out on the day.

6)The rest of us can spread the word around as much as possible. Do this in any shape or form. Gain as much support as possible, much like when Ryo was in that Sega racing poll.

Lets make December 3th a special day.
