If you take a look at the Shenmue III Kickstarter





You will find out that it's been registered under the following name:





and If you google the name, you will find nothing but this:





Seems pretty odd to me!

Ok, so it looks like it has nothing to do with Naughty Dog after all, the name is just a coincidence as I found this:

This guy works at Awesome Japan which seems to be connected to Shenmue kickstarter campaign in some way...

Was probably created a while back and if it was under anyone linked to shenmue it'd blown the secrecy.

Still, they chose to use Joel Tess and not something else. Sony's support & additional funding has been already confirmed as well.

Well, regardless of this Joel Tess thing, Naughty Dog might be involved in a way. The ICE team works there after all so it's not unlikely that they might help out as they do for many Playstation titles.
