LOL. This is just bad. I'm in the east cost so 12:30 AM for me is not too bad but the people in Europe? Man this was not thought out well, Shenmue has a huge fanbase in Europe.

It says on the Kickstarter page that Awesome Japan does general communication and public relations. Does this mean they are advertising the game as well? If so, after this AMA clusterfuck, this game is now dead or alive. Fire Awesome Japan.

For a good reason. The kickstarter could be so much better, this is potential backers and $ that they are losing because the campaign is being handled terribly. I'm beginning to think they slapped the kickstarter together the night before E3.

I'm pretty sure the game is very alive considering its record breaking Kickstarter and thousands of backers. If the diehard Shenmue fans can't even get behind this project, though...wow. The negativity is astounding. They certainly can't do any worse than Sega did when they released Shenmue 1/Shenmue 2.

It broke records due to the good will of the Shenmue fanbase. But we are a very, very small number and this KS should be trying to appeal as many people as possible; it isn't. It says right there on the Kickstarter page that Awesome Japan also conducts public relations and communication, this means PR and advertising. If the actual game has this bad communication and advertising, it is fucked and it WILL bomb. I don't see how you don't understand that.
