That could make sense actually. According to kicktraq, our number of backers has increased at a pretty good rate, yet we only raised $14k, which is a lot less that at this point yesterday. A single backer pulling out seems like a good theory.

Call it a dinner reward but don't forget you're getting a copy of the original Shenmue scripts as well, AND all the other prises (i assume the jacket as well)....

Kickstarter really needs to deal with this. A troll donation ruined somebody's kickstarter this year.

There is a chance the dinner guy realised he couldn't do the dinner and the troll is somebody else.

I think it's trolls because they backed out before getting another tier, like what happened at 3.200.000

How does one actually find satisfaction in trolling a kickstarter?

The dinner is back up for grabs again too. That's at least 20k removed from the total for now.

I don't think that qualifies as trolling. Real trolling happened on the Bloodstained KS where it jumped forward something like 700k (or maybe it was even more) until going right back due to a fraudulent pledge or something.

And the dinner is suddenly gone as well. A little too coincidental for my liking, but...

This is what I don't understand about Kickstarter, what's to stop people pleading millions and then pulling out at the last minute? Or, like, when it comes time to pay and the initial hype and excitement about a game that's not due for 2 years has worn off, it would seem likely that a lot of pledges would start falling away.
