Awesome man :) if there's a bucket full of Shenmue badges could you grab a couple and ship me one? I can cover any expenses for you via pay pal :)

Let the Spanyards do the port and Yu raise the funding through another KS. Sega will hopefully give out that license, too, if YS is involved.

My absolute dream scenario for this would be Sony strikng some kind of deal with SEGA with Bluepoint Games porting the games to PS4. They did the Metal Gear Solid and God of War HD ports for PS3, there's really no-one better at this than them.

Spaniards? I'm Spanish, what company are you refering to?

Probably BlitWorks, based in Barcelona:

Yes, that's them! Thanks, Kiske!

Yes, those guys are pretty good too. But Bitworks from Spain have already done some work on Shenmue it seems. Also Sumo Digital did pretty decent console ports for Outrun 2.

Honestly I would like to see Sega do some deal with any of these 3 companies. I think they all would do a great job.

Possibly, but I think if they released an upscaled port with updated controls. I think that would be it. I don't think they'll do a full HD remaster especially if the new generation can put up with HD rescale and still buy the game.

Some of the merch looks cool though, looks like a set of badges and a Dreamcast 2016 Calender! Would love to get these as both features Shenmue. Even just the little Shenmue button, I don't know if anyone on the forum is attending, but if they happen to get a few Shenmue buttons, please send one my way :D

Looks like SEGA are playing heavily on nostalgia with their merchandise, hopefully this will mean something.

Ahh man they should definately have an online shop for people that can't go, they would make a killing!

I would buy the Mega Drive hoodie, the Mega Drive, Saturn and Dreamcast tshirts, and obviously all the Shenmue stuff...again they're missing out the true potential of this merch!! :-&

Well, I'll be damned, SEGA released a HD version of Yakuza 1 & 2.. and now are making a Yakuza 1 remaster. So it could be a possibility.
