Hey Switch! How about subtitles for this promo video? Should be simple since it's really short.
We need to know why exactly Chai is so excited, other than himself being in the game of course.

Never seen that compass before in the bottom right during the FREE Battle, bit of a weird addition, why would you need it specifically during a fight?!

You're on the mark - that is one of the reasons he is excited :)
The content doesn't actually cover anything new, but it will still be worth subtitling for completeness.

Added to the pipeline!

They had a good sense of humor - the article advises cutting the carrots so as to obtain a proper "polygon-like" appearance ;-)

Subtitled English translations from the Japanese have now been completed for Yu Suzuki's full Shenmue 3 presentation held recently at MAGIC Monaco. Thanks to Yokosuka for providing translations from French.

something along the lines of:
"Shenmue is coming out. They sure made us wait a long time. I hope it's a big hit like me."

Hey Switch, have you ever looked at this picture that's hanging on the wall at Nagai Industries?
I wonder what it says, if it's even related to that place.

It's the kanji for "kiwami" 極 which means extremity / extreme.

You might have seen it somewhere else recently:

Something like: ""What? Hmmm... Occasionally, there are even times when the mountains along the Li River bring misfortune..."

You can read some discussion about it in this thread:
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=50217

From the speech pattern in the Japanese, the consensus was that these words are actually being spoken by an old man (presumably offscreen) rather than Shenhua herself. Or they may just have been test captions.

Interesting connection that they used this for a Yakuza game of all things since Nagai Industries is Yakuza itself.
Is this some kind of codex thing or has some other special meaning for "them"?

I had to research this to find the answer, but it appears to be referring to the word gokudō 極道 (extreme path) which is a word that has its origins in Buddhism but has gradually come to be used as another word for the Yakuza.
