So, Were These Screens Legit?

I don't know how many of you remember, but these screens circulated the neighborhood around 2004ish and were said to be images from the early stages of Shenmue 3 for DC. I think it was also used as evidence for the Kikizio bait article that claimed Shenmue 3 was already completed. Now that Shenmue 3 has finally been confirmed, I'm curious if these screenshots were legitimate at all, and perhaps it could give us some insight on what to expect from Bailu Village.

I'm sure they are legit, but i believe these are from Shenmue 2. But actually going into Bailu Village ended up being cut from the game.

Yep, it looks like the next stop after the cave. I think it's definitely Ryo in his changed clothes since now we know that after he leaves the cave he will change clothes and adopt a certain monk style.
