Who’s Your Favorite Shenmue Character?

Hello Shenmue Backers!

Today we have special backer only poll to see who the most popular Shenmue character is. So confident are we, Ryo? Think you got this one in the bag, do you? We’ll just see now, won’t we?

By voting, the top ranked character will get some VIP treatment in Shenmue 3. Depending on the character, they might get an extended cut scene, a flashback sequence, or a cameo appearance. Or something else entirely?

Just finished mine. I voted for Xiuying Hong because she's got it going on! She would make a cool cameo or even "character perspective gameplay" feature imo...

Awesome reward ideas, although according to the prices associated with them, I doubt I can afford them... :-( we'll see!

I voted Lan Di.

I'm interested to see more about his character. Maybe there's even something about him that we can sympathize with based on what we would see.

Fave character- Ren
Reward I'd pay most for- Dragon/Phoenix mirrors
Fave mini game- duck racing

I voted for Xiuying too! She was such a great character in Shenmue II. She was rock 'ard!!

I loved that scene where she took out that whole group of guys behind Yuan's back!

Her martial arts skills; she'd be a match for Lan Di I reckon.

I REALLY wanted to vote for Xiuying or Ren but Ryo truly is my favorite. I voted for Darts!

Voted the same for all of these, even though I've never gotten round to the duck racing in Shenmue II (need to get on that!). Arm wrestling would have been my 2nd choice, though I'd be curious to see new mini-games.

Dunno what I'd think about being in Shenmue III, "WTF is this mumbling Middle Eastern looking guy doing in Guilin?!"

I really botched it, I voted lan di and luxky hit.

Guizang or Nozomi would be actually more favourites, but I feared they would not be scheduled for appearence.
