I voted for Ryo like an idiot. I didn't even see Guizhang there, otherwise it would've definitely been him. Cannot wait to see Ryo, Ren and Guizhang fucking up the Chi You Men.

For the love of God, finally a some decent update. Had to vote for Ryo. 
Also I opted for making the "become an NPC" a 10k reward and the "have your voice in the game" 5k. Those things need to be expensive. Also, I think only die hard fanboys and girls would care about such things.

Well, you could have ticked "other" and then typed Guizhang yourself.

Yeah, but I'd rather not play through the game n suddenly find someone like Peter just chillin on a bench somewhere. That'd be the time I put the controller down n sink another six months of my life into Football Manager.

Well personally for for his comedic purposes but also he has an almost redemptive character arc during S2.
Most side characters in Shenmue are as they are when Ryo meets them whereas Ren is basically the leader of gang who becomes an ally to Ryo on his quest over the course of the game.
He's always got his own angle (usually where the comedy comes in!) but it's still a progression.

Why not? He could be some western tourist who just came to Bailu Village from Yangshuo or Guilin.

It was close between Ren and Xiuying for me but I eventually went for Xiuying.
I'd be willing to pay up to $1500 for replica mirrors, depending on the quality.

So apparently the new rewards page now got updated with more prices between 80 and 700$, which were missing before, and now i can't change my vote.
Not even a simple survey...sigh :(
Oh and the survey isn't limited to backers, i just redid it again from my phone...LOL
