Weird question, but I've never seen him ever talk about a wife or kids or anything in a single interview.

I assume you already tried Googling it? If nothing came up then he may not be.

There's absolutely no solid evidence in this image, but it may imply that he has a family.

Yu Suzuki is married, and just appears to like to keep a low profile about his personal life.

Here's a little biography written in this article:

It's not often you hear Japanese professionals going on about home life in interviews, far as I've ever seen. They usually tend to focus on their craft, whatever it may be.

As weird as this sounds, I'm more interested in the turtle lol. It was funny to see him mention it in the AMA. I wonder how big the turtle is. :-k

I dunno, I remember people like Kojima talking about his son and stuff.

Yu Suzuki is not only married but has kids (they must be in their 20's by now, that's just pure speculation though). It was mentioned in an interview I read some time ago.

Yu confirms in this interview

...that he's married with one child. I have no idea how old this interview is since there's no date posted on it.

The only things we know about his son is that he's the reason Snake was in Smash and that he hated Metal Gear until Portable Ops. We only know about that because it's relevant to Kojima's work.

he has a daughter who is also his assistant, he mentioned her in a interview with eurogamer a few months back.
the polygon article also mentioned that there was an artwork on a wall which was drawn by his daughter.

his daughter's name is Nanami, who is 'learning English with his encouragement.'

Oh so then he has several children. I guess the other translation got it wrong. He probably said he has kids but in Japanese that wouldn't specify one or several.
