Ok whatever, that's the best they can do? Ryo doesn't look like that, and sure 14 years later they have the ability to make him look proper, plus those model graphics are shit for ps4 as well. Just look at the 3 Roy's in the picture, the two behind are what ryo should look like, the middle one is just off key.

Shenhua looks fine imo.
Ryo is getting there..but his head shape is too small and nose is too big.

2) Why are they releasing these models to the public that look nothing like Ryo?

I'm wondering why he looks that bad, the top of his head is too big for one, among hudreds of small things.

Also, his expression doesn't really say ryo.

Not only he doesn't look like Ryo, he even looks asian, on top of that the model is plain simple horrible and bad modeled, those eyes....also, the fact that they only talk about improving Ryo's
model alon while Shenhua looks even worse...

I am fearing the worst...

You mean he doesn't even look Japanese, right? He looks Caucasian. And his hair is still the wrong colour too.

It would be better if he just used character models of Shenmue 2 and upgraded them, instead of doing everything from zero with UE4 stock textures.

Considering that is based off models from 14 years ago, if they had shown that model in the kickstarter trailer, I think I would have jizzed everywhere, when infact my willy went limp
