Thanks again to everyone for your endless support, passion and love. Breaking the 6 million barrier was more than i expected. At 5 million i already opened a virtual bottle of champaign (I prefer beer) because i REALLY wanted the character perspective system, i feel it will enhance replay value a lot. Now we have advanced battle mode and can be sure it will be one of the best fighting games ever, too. And with donations coming every second i have faith we reach even another goal. Thanks again to everyone for makingmy dream (and many peoples dream) come true.

Now that we have the Advanced FREE Battle system, Ryo's fighting prowess will be have improved so much, looks like Ryo doing all of that Tai Chi at the cave the past 14 years has finally paid off!

This is going great! I wonder...other than the timer counting down, what has actually affected this last day or 2 boost. I'd like to think it's all our hard work throughout the whole month. I guess it could be the Bloodstained record helped, but then we've smashed that now and we're still going. I guess alot of people just have that late mentality, i'll do it later, and now there's 3 hours left, it's about as late as it gets

I'm surprised there aren't any last day youtube videos, from the big youtubers that are Shenmue fans, just a last little reminder might have been nice

Seriously though, this was the tier I wanted us to get to the most and we got it! Couldn't be happier right now.

I'm so thankful for the Shenmue fans who kept this alive for 14 years, who campaigned and kept it at the forefront of people's minds. While I lamented and felt deflated every E3 and never gave up hope, I never campaigned like others did and for that you people have my thanks... you have all made something I thought was impossible.. possible..

Despite everything, the Kickstarter has done really really well, I still think it could've done even better with a bit more planning. Well done guys, Shenmue III we have indeed made history !!!
