What did you guys think of the last twitch stream

I think it was a lot better than the first one.
It still had a lot of problems like the stream stopping midpoint, or the awesome translations (the penetration of Nozomi, Lan tea...). I loved the moderation of takeushi san and loved the atmosphere of the stream, Suzuki san was great as well.
I´ve gotta say though i kind of missed joel tess, as bad as he was he made the last stream hilarious and memorable.

The best twitch of my life. The fact that I didn't watch it alone at home added tenfold to my happiness.

Character Perspective system was again confirmed to be us PLAYING as Ren or Shenhua instead of Ryo.
Also Yu mentioned that he is paying attention quite closely to what the Shenmue community is doing. He specifically mentioned Jibby's trailer which was used on the KS campaign and also the "Thank Yu for Shenmue", Michael Huber's epic reaction and others. Also he mentioned some fan arts which i have seen on user signatures here on the Dojo.
Kind of big news to me at least. I knew that Yu would follow the communities activities from time to time but wouldn't have thought he cares that much.

Appearantly, there was a blackout in Tokyo so about 30 minutes of footage were lost. i liked that Twitch session a lot. Especially Takeuchi-san was awesome.

Also he said something about the Rapport System. There will be missions where you have to cooporate with other characters such as Shenhua. If you build up Shenhua's trust she will be very helpful in those missions. If you fail to do so, she will be less cooperative.
I think this is were Yu was going to go back in the day on DC. If my memory is right, Disc 4 was initially going to be a part of Shenmue 3 if Sega had not given up the DC.
So now we will finally be able to see what his goal with the Rapport System was back then. After all those years. I'm so excited about this!

Hmmmm, I totally missed that bit. Must have been to the bathroom or getting another whiskey or something like that. It was between 1 and 4 am where I am.
Takeuchi-San is such an awesome guy. Must be kind of cool for his kids (if he has any) to have him as a dad. Such a badass dad.

I loved it! Their imitation of Huber's reaction to the initial reveal was so unintentionally hilarious due to translation! "OMG OMG OMG! Shenmue! I'm surprised!"
Loved seeing Yu's genuine emotion as well, once again. The passion he clearly has for this (well, it should be obvious since he's tried to do it for 14 years now) really assures me that the final game will be up to his standards of quality. He's a notorious attention to detail and obsessive about perfection designer. I know he will do all he can with the resources he has to make a great game.
I too would have liked to see Joel again, though. He never bothered me like he did some people. He just seemed like a normal person who loves Shenmue. Perhaps not the best pick for the role he filled arguably, but he's clearly a fan and that makes him cool in my book.
The best quote though was, "It will be an open world game again."

It was much better then the last one but I still wouldn't say it was great. It just felt very poor production wise and I don't think it warranted a 3 hour stream.
The best part was seeing Yu just wiping his eyes every so often because as much as people can say how happy or blessed they're to work on a project that just proved it.
