Looking on Facebook, quite a few people's payments have been declined.... I hope this doesn't affect the final funding level and people manage to get it fixed. Seems like someone made 6 accounts and some of the payments got declined. No offence to anyone here who might have done that, but that always sounded like a dumb decision to me. That's just begging to have your bank block the transactions for suspicious activity.

Indeed. Looking at the number of people complaining of declined payments on Shenmue 500k though, there could be quite a few... I'm sure most people will try to get it fixed though.

Nah, it shouldn't be a problem as long as they actually have the funds.
(KS gives you some time to fix payment issues, so it's just a matter of calling your bank and letting them know that you haven't been swindled by some foreign company.)

Fingers crossed. How many times would KS try to collect before giving up I wonder? Like you say, hopefully most will have a chance to rectify any issues though.

You have 7 days to try and fix it or your pledge gets cancelled. The problem is, though, some people are saying KS are making them change their payment details to try another account instead, but they can't, because they only have one bank. I wonder if you just don't change it, whether KS try the same account again later or if you have to change the payment details.

I, too, and worried about declined payments. I'm sure quite a few people will see their payment's been declined and say fuck it, I didn't care that much anyway. Should probably drop us $50K, I'm guess. Not significant, but still a little painful.

My money was collected just under 2 hours ago. (I wanted to post straight away but had login issues). A paltry $60, I'm afraid, as I am not in work. I had some fun monitoring when it crossed $5m ... and when someone changed their mind, pushing the total back again!

That's my concern too.

Anyways, it turns out you can just re-enter the same bank details and some people have had it accepted the second time without even phoning their bank.

Well if they have the funds they will sort it out somehow, pretty sure we are safe. Theres bound to be a % of pledges that won't be collected.
