This is it now, the past month has been exciting and frantic with many surprises but it's going to be calm for a long while now and we have to get used to that, in some ways it's more agonizing.

Yeah, I am missing the dojo twitch streams too. I had alot of fun with everyone doing those too. I purposely sunk myself into playing FInal Fantasy X HD to take my mind off Shenmue and everything else.

Yeah I expected an update since saying like congrats everyone, we did amazing, records were broken etc etc, thanks everyone. I could understand if they have the weekend off again, but now Monday is over and no update seemed a bit poor tbh.

The Shenmue 3 Kickstarter did send out a thank you through their Twitter channel, as did Biscay. Not sure about Yu as I can't read Japanese But you're right, a little something on the Kickstarter itself really wouldn't have gone amiss.

Also remember Yu did say he would keep backers up to date as often as he could and we will be seeing something for certain at MAGIC next Feb (Biscay says possibly a trailer and 'why not something more').

Things like this only underscore my feeling that there is simply some sort of unintended (and innocent) disconnect between their perception of Kickstarter and ours. Everyone is quick to blame AJ for the mishandling of the KS, but Yu said in the stream that he is intimately involved in and monitoring everything that happens. So I wonder if he just doesn't think about it the way we do, or fully understand people's expectations. Which is actually understandable.

Either that or they're working on a major update of some kind. We know they're working on PayPal at least. Maybe they really are trying to implement it in a snazzy way and it's taking time? Fingers crossed.

I'm sure we'll hear something soon.

P.S. The last update we got on Friday was late in the afternoon PDT, so it's still POSSIBLE we could hear something today. Maybe...

Yu Suzuki did tweet a thank you message & photo at the end of the Kickstarter countdown, but I agree that a quick update on the Kickstarter page would have been nice.

Monday was a public holiday in Japan so there's a chance we may get an update today.
