Well, technically you can work in the gaming industry AND be a Shenmue fan at the same time

if nothing else, this story fits perfectly into Shenmue's mysterious atmosfere and I couldn't be more curious about this providential fan!

to give this subject credence:
1, yu doesn't need any fan for this. (i was reading your other concerns, wasn't sure how to react.)
2, to believe the hype, if it's eugenicist vaccine peddler henry kissinger....i mean bill gates that he's hiring, and it actually come to fruition.
i'll destroy any shenmue shit i have, get a labotomy so i can give it back.
3, again, if yu pulls that shit, he'll single handedly ALIENATE a huge chunk of fanbase just on that alone. (no fucker wants anything to do with BG, and i'd love the opportunity to drive a spike through his left eye...for getting above his station. os's and tech are his game, NOT WHO issues he has a massive financial stake in.)

I might make that trade to have a chance at working on Shenmue. But if I'm not working on Shenmue, I'm not even sure I'll play the trial! Tough call there.

I'm not familiar with espiral other than by name, but if any fan of the series deserves to be hired, it's NoconKid. That dude has done some fucking incredible things with his HD remake of Shenmue - and all out of love, no less! Plus, he's clearly familiar and skilled with Unreal Engine, so it makes sense.
