I dunno, in the context retweets are neccessarly 'endorsements' of that given message. Given how some of the media shat all over "Shampoo Tree" I think they'd jump on the chance to rip something out of context from one of the producers, including retweets. My point is Cedric would want to stand by something he put out, either from him or someone else, at least as something he likes anyroad.

Agreed. With just over two months to go until PayPal donations are completed, I'm not sure we'll even hit the $6.5 mill mark. If we can hit that mark, then PayPal will have been worth the trouble of setting up. Otherwise, I'm not sure it did the team much good.

The Paypal campaign made $71.360 in five weeks.
$95.340 more are needed to reach $6.500.000.
There are still ten weeks left.

That means if it continues with the current pace, we'll get $142.720 more, for a total of $6.547.375. Taking christmas time and the typical peak towards the end of these things into account, it might be a little more than that. Unless people stop donating alltogether. And $7.000.000 seems very unlikely of course, but one more stretch goal reached isn't such a bad thing.

It is reasonable to get all the members to commit $450 more? We'd all get a much better Shenmue 3.. one that WOULD reclaim it's title as the best graphics in the industry.

That's not reasonable in the slightest. A lot of people aren't in a position where they can just throw away $450 like that.

Somebody tells you they got money problems about spending 450 on Shenmue 3 is lying to you. You know what I say to that? I say, hey look, man, tell me you don't like my idea, tell me you don't like crowd funding, tell me you don't like f@#*ing Shenmue, but don't tell me you can't put together 450 bucks to play the greatest game the world has ever known.

I wouldn't drop another $450 on Shenmue 3 either.... but I would if I knew everyone else here would, because then we'd hit the 10 million.

That's the paradox, we'd all donate an extra $450 only if we had assurances that the rest of the group would do the same and no one attempted to be a "free rider" and not participate.
