The PayPal campaign really could use having different rewards than those from the Kickstarter, so that the KS backers have an incentive to donate once again.

I mean, I'm already getting a physical copy of the game. Now encourage me with something else.

The only encouragement you should need is that by donating more you are helping to create a better Shenmue experience. Quite frankly why you'd need anything else to encourage you to donate again is upsetting to see.

Regarding the Paypal campaign, can't wait for them to add the upgrade system and the PC version. We should see a boost with that kind of update. And more rewards would be great too.

Yeah, I'm waiting on the upgrade system. Although, I think I might prefer to have two copies of the game (one for PS4, the other for PC), so I might just pledge for a physical as a new backer.

In my opinion, not very well so far.

They may not be 100% accurate but here are the rough numbers as of october 12th, 2015:

- 25 days
- 785 new backers
- 60'943$

--> ~ 2438$ per day
--> ~ 31 backers per day
--> ~ 78$ per backer.

That said, upgrades for Kickstarter backers should be announced soon... I hope.
As for the PC version, I honestly don't understand what's going on and why it takes so long to propose it within the PayPal campaign.

To be honest: It is very easy to bring us true Shenmue-Fans to give another few dollars to the Shenmue-III-project. But we want new rewards and the new Information about our most loved games series of all time.

If I'm not wrong, yesterday we had 4 (!!!) new backers. The "Slacker Backer" campaign is STUCK.

Day after day I'm more confused about the lack of PC version as reward for paypal backers.
It has been almost one month since the begining of the campaign and still no agreement "with the related parties"?

I'm wondering by the way who are those related parties beside YsNet and Shibuya?
Does somebody know which publisher is involved with the PC version of Shenmue 3?

I understand the community's disappointment with the Slacker Backer, but Ys Net have still managed to raise an additional $100K because of it. That is a significant amount of money. We should be happy there are still two months left to fund the game. Star Citizen's post-Kickstarter success is unprecedented, and their model is much different than the traditional Slacker Backer. I don't think there are many other examples of extremely successful post-Kickstarter campaigns. How much has Bloodstained raised?

Awesome Japan has not done an excellent job and the negative articles haven't helped Ys Net, but I don't think either of these factors have affected Shenmue 3 as much as some of us would like to believe.
