Seems that pre-sales are slowing down again.
We have gathered about 220.000$ in the paypal campain so far. Guess it's not all that bad as long as the money is really going into producing a better game. I kind of worry that this extra money is just going into higher salaries and team dinners.


I think they really should close down the campaign a couple of days after the magic monaco event.

I think that should be enough to hire an extra developer or two, at least for a certain period of time.

3rd March would be a good time to wrap up the PayPal. 3rd of the 3rd, just after Magic Monaco, can use trailer in last big push to get donations, hopefully crack $7 million if they get their act together and have PC versions and KS backer upgrades ready by then.

Yeah. I still think we need a "perfect storm" of stuff to reach 7 million, and a part of that is leaving the PayPal open at least until the end of the prototyping phase.

We really ought to push for a hard end date for the paypal.. something that will spark a massive boost in the paypal. Hell let's shoot for the moon... I got my eye in a cool 8 million.

If we can get to 8 million then we'll hit a Choubu stretch goal! We gotta get excited about Choubu people..the 8 mil stretch goal will get us Choubu mini games X 5!!!!

8 million is achievable but we'll need a massive spike it paypal donations.

Word has to go out that March 3 would be the last day ever to affect positive change in Shenmue 3's quality.... I think a cool 1.5 million boost if we ALL dig deep into our pockets.

8 million.. if we can hit one .. just ONE.. Choubu stretch goal then we can fill out this "water cooler painting come to LIFE" as Suzuki puts it.
