What I mean is that at some point, if they want to release the game on schedule (or with only a short delay) they'll have to decide which features will make it and which ones won't.
This is why it's important imo, to reach the highest amount of funds in the shortest possible time.
Again, pledges upgrades, PC version and above all, big media coverage are what we need in the next month in order to consolidate the budget.
In theory, they should have determined which features are doable within the two and a half years of development while Yu was creating his five versions of the game plan for Shenmue III. Unless something drastically doesn't work, I don't think they'll be leaving a huge amount of gameplay features on the cutting room floor regardless of schedule.
But yes, the game can always use more money. Shenmue being in the news a fair bit the last two weeks has helped immeasurably. An update next week would push it stratospheric.
