It's like a turn based street fighter, as weird as that sounds. You don't fully control the fight, you just press buttons basically ...and then move around a map bumping into enemies pokemon style until they're all dead. Then there's loads of chat, more characters from different games appear, and then about 20 more enemies spawn and it takes about an hour to complete a stage, and then you die after 50 minutes, and you have to start the whole level again.

It is fairly fun though, I was trying to get to the stage in the first game to play as Ulala, but it just got so long winded and pretty hard, i couldn't stick it out. Hopefully Ryo isn't too deep into the game, but will work my socks off to get to him regardless this time around

Incidentally, if anyone sees any Ryo related merch based off of this game, please let us know

It's basically a turn based strategy/JRPG game, a la "Valkyrie Profile" and "Super Robot Taisen" games. But here, images speak louder than words (review for the first game):
