All elements in the following screen shots are still in testing. Objects are being used as place holders, like the men in black suits, and Ryo is also an older model. Backgrounds and buildings are also still in the development stage and will see reworking. Shots for the two battle scenes were taken at angle to avoid spoilers as much as possible.

I was browsing these forums on my phone when I got the push notification about the Kickstarter update - I literally sneaked with excitement (I'm not ashamed to admit that).

I am shocked at how good that looks. For the budget they raised I expected that there have to be some compromises but the look of that game far exceeds my expectations. To me, graphics of that quality are going to make the world more immersive and atmospheric.

It really is looking great. I can't wait.
But you know I wish the team would also do a full Shenmue 1 & 2 remake of this quality.. WOW that would be amazing.

Now this is the first Kickstarter Update since it finished that really got me pumped up. Ryo finally looks like Ryo and I see some nice lighting effects and use of gaussian blur, giving a very dynamic image.
