Call me names (well, possibly after The PSX 2015  ) but when I look at their faces, I can't help but think they know.

A few weeks ago Jibbs.

Corsi and Boye's flew to Tokyo, but I can't remember if it was Shenmue specific, or what the nature of the trip was. But they did say they were having dinner and checking up on the Shenmue 3 development. Some also speculating that it was to arrange some sort of announcement at PSX at the weekend.

I would :rotflmao: more on Deep Down. Meant to be a Japan PS4 launch title. Surely the launch window has slipped by now. At least DOAX3 is coming to Japan/Asia. Hello play-asia.com!

According to one of Gio Corsi tweet it was a 56* hours trip in Tokyo. No specific purpose given at the time but then, Gio posted this picture on Twitter.
It could very well have been a trip to check on the Shenmue 3 development but knowing how busy Adam and Gio must be a few weeks away from Playstation Experience, it's hard for me to believe there is no relation between the PSX and this "visit" to Yu Suzuki's team.

I may be totally wrong though... we'll see what happens during the PSX next 6th of december.
Finger crossed.

Oh wow, that's very interesting. I could understand if it was just Adam or just Gio going to Tokyo to check on development, but both of our strongest allies in Sony going is certainly something. I wouldn't say it foreshadows any ground-breaking announcement like Shenmue HD or anything, but it does convince me that their at least going to talk about Shenmue at PSX now which is nice.

Yea, as well with Kiske it's the same as myself. You never know. I will watch it live on Saturday with no expectations but, we still haven't had an update in over a month so it's not necessarily out of the realms of fantasy that there could be a Shenmue related announcement at the event. There are still also the mixed messages over the PC availibility to be resolved. Could all be just a coincidence but you never know.

On a side note, does anyone know who will be featured as the keynote speaker? I mean is it just one person such as Shawn Layden giving it? Or is it a mixture of the different departments? Just really wondering if Boyes or Corsi are being given a slot to speak. That's when excitement would rise.

Edit: Just read in another thread that the KS team are putting "finishing touches" to the next update. Will be interesting to see if that update is released on Friday or Saturday.

I think it's too early for a game show.

But who knows.
