Taylor Swift should be on Shenmue III

Before anyone gets their hopes up, no, Shenmue III will not be at the Magic Pre-Conference today. How do I know? Well, I don't "know", but I know. Wait until late Feburary. We will finally see what Shenhua's hat looks like.

I don't know if this has already been mentioned elsewhere, but I just noticed that Shenmue III was included in the Unreal Engine blog's list of UE4 games to look forward to in 2018. https://www.unrealengine.com/en-US/blog/the-gaming-industry-gets-set-for-an-unreal-2018 The blog entry itself is an aggregate of lists from IGN, Gamespot and Polygon. No new information, but it's nice to see that Epic has confidence in Shenmue III being a good representation of UE4.

Shenmue III is a game to look forward in any engine.

So what are the chances of seeing a Shenmue 3 update at the end of the month? I really want to see a new developers report update video.

End of this month? Probably like 0-5% chance, the most we will get ia more info about MAGIC if anything.

Next month we'll get to see more of the game. Feb 24th.

They gave us three screenshots and some footage of the environments were in the pre-screening.

Oh I forgot about the the screenshots they gave us. Hehe
But I really wanted to see another developers progress report before the 24th.

I expect this is all the next update will contain (quoted from the last update): "A conference with Yu Suzuki is planned for the day. Once details have been worked out with participating partners, we will have an update to follow up."

Naturally, I'd be thrilled to see more but I think Magic is the next time we'll see new images (and hopefully gameplay).

I'm sure they will show videos of everything like gameplay, mini games, part time Jobs, a village et cetera.
