No one really asked for a bunch of Toy Cows and Forklifts, nor did they ask for a photoshoped Ryo. They could have shown stills of what LanDC and Peter saw and everyone would've been satisfied.

I spoke to Peter a little earlier on, we did kind of see what he saw, in so much that they saw the temple we've seen the gate for.

As for the cows and forklifts... I don't see what the problem is. Yu got to fit the forklift mini-game in like he wanted. Sure we've got no idea of the context of the shot but it's nice to know we'll be getting new mini-games.

Photoshopped Ryo is just a reality of not being ready to show the new face. Sure they could have taken the shot from behind, but, on the face of it all it's not actually the big deal it seemed like on here when the shots first broke. Twitter, Kickstarter, GAF have all been pretty positive on the whole about the update, which is reassuring.

Finally - some screenshots! The first screen is excellent and really shows off the power of UE. Chai in the distance is an excellent little teaser.

The second screen is good, on the whole, but something just didn't look right from the off and I couldn't quite put my finger on it.

The first thing I noticed was that Ryo has his mouth closed midkick, which I thought was a bit strange. Who kicks with their mouth closed?

But on second and third views, I see what the rest of you see! It's been edited! So why was it was shown if it wasn't ready? Just leave it out. Two screenshots would've been fine by me.

I can't really comment on the third screen. The textures look good, especially Ryo's jeans and the wood, but it's certainly very random.

Oh, and let's not forget that logo. Please, please, please, Yu. Just bin it off. It really is an eyesore, and as another poster has mentioned, something as simple as replacing the logo with the original would've elevated the screenshots.

I don't really see how you can deduce a Mini-Game from that random ass screenshot, but it's OK. I don't feel like pissing in peoples cereals any longer.

What's the issue with the third screenshot? It's clearly a minigame that will be like Shenmue III's version of lucky hit. The cows are decorations, possibly for some sort of village festival (that could explain why there are games to begin with) and the damage detail on the forklift (the way the paint has chipped off at the edges) shows it's clearly built to be a toy asset, not an actual forklift asset scaled down. I don't think it looks like a random jumble of assets at all.
