Unfortunately the logo we dreaming and was in the end official has disappeared, Maybe the last video in Gamescom 2017 had an old logo. it's time to chose wich one everyone want ! Then the famous topic closed Shenmue III Logo Poll is Back !

I love the thought Suzuki had behind the making of number three. I thought it was a very beautiful, heartfelt gesture but I do prefer number two.

Here's a thought: Maybe he could continue his idea of personally writing something in Shenmue himself but just not the title?

Maybe he should keep his own design limited to the Japanese version of the logo, and use original for English.

The calligraphy one has its heart in the right place and I'm sure we all appreciate Yu rolling up his sleeves and having a try, but if it aint' broke...

I totally respect the heart and effort that Yu put in the new logo but the original cursive logo just can't be beat.
The new Japanese logo is perfect but that because it's hardly different to that region's original. And original is just the key word here. The logo is part of the brand and its recognizability and thus it should not be replaced.

Totally agree. But at the end it's his decision. And I'm fine with whatever it ends up with. Even though the original is my personal preference.

Mm, it is ultimately in the hands of YSnet, but the KS update did show Yu was asking for opinions, and it's not the first time we've walked back on the logo.

I think it'll be addressed soon, and probably for good, whichever way it goes.*

I could live with the new logo, but I really want the cursive one.

I've read many approvals for the new logo in the KS comments. It's not impossible by far that we end up with an unexpected Shenmue III cover next year, especially after what happened to the last KS survey.

Personally, I'm already used to the new logo despite my preference for the original one.

If the calligraphy does end up getting kept I at least hope it's the white brushstrokey one. The embossed gold just doesn't work for the new logo.

With respect to Yu-san, i prefer Number 2 since unlike the one that Yu draw it doesnt look cheap. To me the new logo looks cheapish and i dont like the way the S in shenmue looks.
